Well getting slowly closer. Waiting on the end of an ebay auction for a second bike.
Picking up some conduit for a seat frame this week as well. The original plans call for a plywood seat framed with angle iron. Decided to do a mesh seat instead. Found plans for the seat on
Recycled Recumbent (another site with plans for a homebuilt recumbent) and have someone lined up with the right pipe benders to get the rails I need.

Also thinking of tweaking the plans slightly. The original site has another set of plans I like for a long wheel base trike:
Thinking of building from my first set of plans from the crank set back, then tacking up the front end with the dual wheels. Might give me the ultimate comfort cruising bike for longer rides and car replacement.
